Who can apply for the grant?
Any startup, creative team, studio, or independent creator can apply. We typically focus on teams of up to 30 people, but this is not a strict limit. If your project is truly innovative, ambitious, or unique — we’ll gladly consider your application regardless of team size. Just convince us that your idea is worth supporting.
What do participants receive?
Participants get full access to cutting-edge STEOS technologies, including APIs for speech synthesis, voice cloning, speech recognition, and other tools from our audio intelligence platform. The grant includes 45 000 to 100 000 tokens, equivalent to over 1 000 hours of realistic voice generation. The exact amount is determined individually based on your project’s scope and potential.
How long does the application review take?
You’ll receive a decision within 14 days of submitting your application. A dedicated STEOS review committee evaluates each project based on innovation, potential impact, and planned use of our technology. As soon as the decision is ready, we’ll contact you via the email you provided.
Where should I mention the grant?
Companies and studios are expected to display a clickable grant banner on their website with a direct link to STEOS — in sections like “Partners”, “Powered by”, or the footer. It should be visible and linked correctly. For independent creators, podcasters, artists, and freelancers, placement is discussed on a case-by-case basis. We’re flexible and happy to find a format that works for you.
Can I use the grant to build a competitor to STEOS?
No. The grant cannot be used to develop products or services that directly compete with STEOS’s core offerings. We support innovation, not duplication. However, you’re free to build apps, games, educational tools, podcasts, or other projects where STEOS serves as the underlying technology — not as a replacement.
Can STEOS use information about my project?
Yes. By participating, you agree that STEOS may use information about your project — including name, logo, description, and screenshots — in marketing materials such as our website, social media, newsletters, and presentations. We always credit your team and love sharing your success. If you’d like to restrict certain data from being published, just let us know in advance.
What happens if I break the grant terms?
STEOS reserves the right to revoke the grant unilaterally if any of the terms are violated — for example, failing to display the banner, using tokens for unauthorized purposes, or building a competing product. That said, we don’t aim for immediate penalties. If an issue arises, we’ll reach out first to discuss it and, if possible, help you get back on track.
Can I apply without a legal entity?
Absolutely. Independent creators, developers, designers, and hobbyists can apply without formal registration. All we need is a clear project idea and a solid plan for how you’ll use STEOS. We believe in people — not just companies.
What if I run out of tokens?

Don’t worry — if your project grows fast and you need more than the granted tokens, participants of the STEOS Voice Founders Program get exclusive access to discounted token packs.

You can continue using STEOS at preferential rates, without switching to standard pricing. This is our way of supporting you not just at launch, but all the way to scale.
